How many scores do people usually submit?

How many test scores do people usually submit to more selective colleges? Because I’m seeing a lot of stuff on here about not submitting anything other than 4s and 5s and I have a couple 3s myself, one in Spanish Language & Culture which I’m very proud about achieving, and one in European History which is kinda sucky even though it was a new test yadayada. So I guess my question comes down to is it better to submit less, higher scores or more passing scores? Coming from someone taking a lot of AP classes that’ll show up on my transcript and has an interest going into business and/or politics. Should there be a minimum percentage of how many AP scores you should submit before colleges start looking at you side eyed? I hope this made sense any response helps thank you!

Oh I totally forgot I got a 3 on Human Geo which is a class I took first semester of freshman year then finished that summer because I changed schools, so it was almost a full year & a half after my first semester and almost a year after my second that I took the test. Some people preach against sending any 3s but I feel like I should send Spanish and human geo or is that a bad idea?

I think reporting 3+ is fine. I would not report a 1 or a 2, although the AO may wonder why you did not submit all scores. At the end of the day, AP scores carry little to no weight in the admissions process, IMO.
