How many stamps was I supposed to put on the envelope for my rec? It's probably about 2-3 pages -- is one stamp enough?

Thanks

I put 2 Stamps.

go to the post office

go up to the scale

press the appropriate button for domestic first class mail

place your envelope on the scale

read what it says on the screen....it will probably say 0.42 ...meaning one stamp

do you want me to come hold your hand while you do it? :-P

Yea Shraf is right, u have to weigh w/e ur sending and make sure its a certain weight. i think i had to put 2 stamps on there to even it out but just make sure. good luck!

... no need to be sarcastic... but thanks anyway

The reason I asked here instead of going to the post office is that my teacher mailed the letter already (with one stamp). I was just wondering whether or not I should ask her to resend it because I didn't put on enough stamps.

if there isn't enough postage on it then it'll be returned to her and you should resend. If it has been two or three business days and it hasn't been returned then it should be ok.

Normal letters don't need two stamps... all of mine have arrived with one stamp.
