<p>How many teacher recommendations (and from what types of teachers- math, science, etc) do the following schools require? Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>I know Princeton requires 2 teacher recs and 1 counselor rec... i think you can add one more optional rec, which can be from a peer, mentor, teacher, whatever... don't know about the other 2</p>
<p>When I did my Princeton and MIT application this year, they both wanted two teacher recommendations and one guidance counselor recommendation. However, MIT is a little bit more specific in that one of your recommendations must be a math or science teacher whereas the other one has to be more humanities based whether english, history, or foreign language teacher.</p>
<p>Oh and sorry, don't know much about the Stanford app. I'll ask my friend who applied there about it.</p>
