How many times did/are you taking the SAT/ACT?

I was just curious how many times people take it. Personally i've taken the SAT 3 times and im scared that i've taken it too much for colleges to take my scores seriously

So just reply with how many times you've taken it so i can get a sense of what other people do.

My D took the SAT 3 times & the ACT once.

Three times is okay - any more than that might be an issue for some Adcomms.

Do they make you send all scores in?

So colleges will know if you took your SAT more than once ?? I thought they won’t know if you didn’t send them the scores that you don’t want them to get , they’ll think you took it only once , is that true ???

I took once and i’m planning to retake in Oct and possibly in Nov , let’s see how it goes with the Oct test .

I took once in march of soph year and will retake October junior year. That is all i intend on.

most colleges i think require you to send in all your scores.

Some schools for example Harvard support Collegeboard’s “Score Choice” or whatever its called in which u choose what you want to send it

I’ve taken the SAT twice, and the ACT once. That’s all I’m doing.

I took both tests once. I feel that if I took the SAT again I would score much higher then I did back in March but given that my ACT score equivalent SAT score was much higher than my March exam I hardly feel its worth the time and energy.

Both tests once. May take the ACT again, but I’m not quite sure yet.
