How many times did you switch Majors in College?

List the ones you switched from and the ones you eventually completed. Just want to see how many people switched majors after declaring in their first or second year.

Nuclear Engineering (switched)
Mechanical Engineering (switched)
Physics (Completed)
Applied Mathematics (Completed)
Economics (Completed)

And yeah, I know, I wasn't very sure what I wanted to do at first in College :)

journalism (switched)
International Studies (switched)
Psychology (working on now)
Child Psychology and Middle Eastern studies (will switch to when transfer)

will eventually get masters in social work :)

I never really switched, but I came in thinking Nuclear Engineering. After some research and major fairs I thought it was too specialized. Also the whole Japan thing didn’t help at all…

So now I am in Mechanical.

I’m going for my Msc in Actuarial Science now.

I started at community college a little confused as to what I wanted to do.
I went from
Double major in History and Psychology, minor in theatre
to
Double major in History and Theatre
to
Double major in History and Economics, minor in German.

I feel like the last option is the best one for me. Psychology isn’t my thing, and even though I love theatre and being on stage, it feels a little useless, especially combined with History.

I switched from an Animal Science major to an East Asian Studies major, although I’ll probably double major in International Relations or Japanese as well.

I switched from chemical engineering to chemistry towards the end of my sophomore year.
