Nevermind what i previously said…we might have longer to wait than til may 1st.

i heard from the “transfers accepted to Lb” thread that CSUlb wont send out anything til the last week this month. the decisions wont be received until the first week in may… jeez.

im beginning to lose it. I hope that they are waiting this long to tell us because we’re either accepted or at least waitlisted. if i am waiting this long to be rejected id rather have known earlier. waiting to hear that i will wait some more would also suck

Hey I’ve been reading these messages and I wanted to let you all know that I called today and was accepted. My major is Liberal Studies and it’s impacted. My GPA is 3.51 and I’m transferring from SFSU. Not a Long Beach area resident.
Good Luck to everyone! :]

hey quiqui did you call the hotline and get a recording telling you that you got in? Or did you ask enrollment services?

The hotline changed to “congratulations you have been admitted” and then i tried signing in to mycsulb and it worked and it said the same thing.

What you guys should do is to log in into your MYCSULB… you have to activate it first. go to mycsulb https://my.cms.csulb.edu/psp/pa88prd/EMPLOYEE/EMPL/h/?tab=PAPP_GUEST there is a blue link says activate your account, click it enter your ID for username and date of birth for password… anyway it tells you what to, in your mycsulb it tells you if youre accepted or whats missing.

MyCSULB doesn’t work until you’re accepted so people can’t really do that.

Yeah I haven’t even been given a userid I don’t think.

i called yesterday… i found out i was waitlisted… anyone eles???
health science gpa 3.43 not in lb area

[Welcome to Team TY KU - Age Verification Required](http://www.teamtyku.com)

Haven’t heard anything from LB yet. Lame.

I got into CSULB two days ago. Basically if you got sent a FAFSA thing-a-majig, then you got in. I called the hotline and they gave me the CONGRATS, spiel…

Good luck to the rest of you guys!

I got the FAFSA verification forms, is that what you’re talking about Oquendo??

I can’t call the damned line cause I don’t have long distance >_<

Yeah, that’s what I meant.

Huh? Garden Grove isn’t that far. Plus, you are only on the line 1-2 minutes tops. I would try it just in case.

Awesome.

I will in a bit, we’ll see!

I just called them, and was surprised it worked, and the documents said they needed my SCC and SAC transcripts, but I wasn’t missing any documents last week. Should I send them again??

Hey everyone,
after weeks of stressing, i just found out today on the hotline, “Congratulations you’ve been offered admission to the university”
i listenned to it twice to make sure, then i signed into mycsulb and it accepted it! finally. didnt think i would hear anything til may. thought i might be lucky to even be waitlisted.
stats:
Im a transfer
CSU GE certified with 60 credits
3.67 gpa
im an art major (animation/graphic design) which is impacted, but even with the budget and restricted enrollment, i got in!

i got into sfsu as well. but im sure im gonna go to long beach does anyone know which school has better art programs for graphics, etc.? csulb or sfsu?

iggykins! That same thing happened to me so I called enrollment services and they said that it’s normal for that to happen! Just call enrollment services and they can verify if they’ve received everything

I am also getting impatient. Has anyone been accepted with a 3.2 GPA…what do you think the chances are. I am a human development major…

8underpar,

check out this site, it has transfer admits gpas:
[CSULB Enrollment Services](http://www.csulb.edu/depts/enrollment/admissions/transfer_gpa.html)

transfer applicants have been accepted to human development with gpas btwn 3.05-3.49 for last yr. im not sure the criteria for this year, but if ur major is not impacted, and if uve got all your csu ge done with 60 credits, you should def have a chance.

Yeah the real problem is the impaction. My cc councilor told me they are only accepting a very limited amount of transfers.
