Essays:
Common App: 9/10. Very in-depth story about the relationship between my autistic brother and me.
NYU: 8/10. Really clever, I enjoyed writing it.
CMU: 9/10. Witty, funny, and effective at explaining why CMU is a good fit.
JHU: 7/10. I thought it was good, but I didn’t feel very passionate when writing it.
Duke: 9/10. Really out of the box and fun to write.
Cornell: 8/10. Very solid, witty, and appropriately funny.
Columbia: 7/10. Similar problem to JHU, but still good.
UPenn: 8/10. All-around a really good supplement.
Harvard: 9/10. Did a good job at conveying myself as an applicant and was pretty fun to write.
Princeton: 10/10. Had three people read it, and all three of them cried, not to mention a dope ending.

Recommendations:
Teacher Rec. #1: 10/10. My Stats teacher who has caused everyone who has read the essay to cry.
Teacher Rec. #2: 9/10. My Spanish teacher. I’m apparently the best-speaking student he’s ever had.
Counselor Rec.: 8/10. I’ve had a lot of face-time with my counselor to work out schedules and things.
Additional Rec.: 8/10. From my football coach who says that I’m the smartest player he’s ever coached, but it’s not very specialized.

Other:
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Male
State: NC
Income: $80,000
Intended Major: Statistics (or the best equivalent available)

You’ll likely get into NYU and CMU. All of the others are way too unpredictable; you’ll probably get into 1 or 2 of them - if I had to guess, I’d say Cornell or Hopkins.

Just to clarify, you are aware that Stern is crazy selective at 12%, right? (A lot of people don’t know this)

Most likely none of the 9 schools based on stats, gpa, and extracurricular activities. You will have to wait until the end of March to know for sure.

Maybe CMU, Dietrich is easier

I would say NYU & Carnegie Mellon can go either way, but your scores are on the low end for everything else. Cornell might also accept, but I’m not so sure. Do you have time to retake the SAT or try the ACT?

Good luck! Chance me back?

multi??? sounds like enloe
i’d say you have a good shot to get into at least a couple of these but for a lot of them your scores are a bit low.

Best of luck! Chance back?

CMU and NYU might happen. So anywhere from 0 to 2.

Lol, I’m actually friends with some people from Enloe, but I don’t go there.

I’ll speculate 2 but hope you have some safeties.

I already got into UNC for Math Decision Sciences!!!
