<p>My is a gigantic memoir that’s about 7 pages, but it definitely does not have to be that long. Your graded writing sample is what it is-- a graded writing sample. This is your abstract writing choice, you have freedom and can choose any writing that you did in an english class. It’s not confined to a certain word limit.</p>
<p>Actually, I don’t think it has to be from an English class. My understanding is that a history paper will also work.</p>

<p>One school asked for 1-2 pages, the others did not specify, but same essay (2.5 page) was used for all schools that requested an essay. It was from humanities class and was on an election related issue.</p>
