I attended CC from fall 2009, now finishing up my 2nd year and will transfer this fall :)

Three years!

Dunno … I got got accepted into one of my top choices but I’m still waiting on the majority of my admissions decisions.

How about you?

P.S. I drove by Chabot the other day and they’ve really upgraded it.

Two years for me. Still finishing my pre-med requirements but I should get them done by next year at UC level for sure.

6 years full time. I refused to transfer to a university before I knew 100% what I wanted to major in.

@eyethink

Well, my preferences are…

UCLA
CAL
UCD
UCSD

in that order. Hopefully I can keep my GPA steady or raise it higher. UCLA has a 3.75 average for Poli Sci transfers and I have a 3.67. Good thing Chabot offers all 4 of the Poli Sci prereqs since TAP isn’t offered.

Yeah, well the aesthetic upgrade of the campus didn’t really change my quality of education haha. I barely go by building 700.

Btw, any recommendations for Stats teachers? I was thinking Adolph Oliver for math 43.

^I’ll ask around.

If I get accepted anywhere, 1 year

Three years!

2 years, but with summer school and winter session in there as well.

Finishing up my 3rd year (and 3rd summer session) at CC before transferring in the fall.

Went to a CSU for 2 years and dropped out. Took either 1 class/semester or nothing over a 3 year span. Started taking a half/full-time load in the following two years.

Edit: Of course, as with others, for concisions’ sake is left out a world of other things.

@thearc & others, I can commiserate.

4 years…took a semester off which set me back a year =X

@ hayward go chabot!

Three years total; I was part-timing for most of the first two years.

Three year plus transfers are a lot more common than I thought. Good thing, I’m feeling old.

Looks like I win this thread (or lose, perhaps.)

I spent 2 years. But I had EOPS which gave me priority registration. I also went to both summer and winter sessions.

2 years. Just have to time things right.

I’ve been at community college for eight years with varying levels of commitment: intermittent classes during high school, then full-time at a four-year for a year after high school, then two years mostly part-time at community college.

2 years. 3 semesters worth of summer school

1 year + 1 semester (this semester) to get all 60 Units for transfer, Accepted UCSB UCI
Pending UCSD UCB
