How much are you spending on prom?

Less than $200 and I am paying for myself and date.

Tickets = $100
Dress = $20
Tux = $60
Hair & Make-up= Free at salon
Making dinner in= $10
Shoes= $0 already have
Jewelry= $0 borrowing

Woot :)

Tickets: $160, ■■■ for paying for my date’s as well.
Tux: $125, ■■■ that is the cheapest that is around me!
Transportation: $20, ■■■ but we still got a good deal for limos.
Sexiness: $0, not ■■■.
Good looks: $0, not ■■■.
Cost for cameras after my hotness breaks them all: $750, ■■■.

Total: $305, I paid about $150 of it, ■■■.

My prom date is also fairly poor, and she spent $380 on just her dress. Ouch. I guess that’s okay since it takes much to compare to my handsomeness.

Wow some of you guys spend a lot haha.

Tux - $120
Ticket - $15
Dinner - $20

Modulation, it was Gucci. This is a picture: http://www.coolbagcenter.com/images/142896_FAK7G_1000.jpg</a> but the site it leads to sells fakes, so that’s not where I got it. I got it from the (surprise) October Gucci sale online, probably spurred by the recession.
I got a little bit of perfume for free with it too! And now Gucci sends me letters like “We’re having a sale in December!” And I’m like, yeah, I have no money.

Tux - 150
Corsage - 17
Ticket - 35
Gas - 20

Total : 150+17+35+20.

Not bad.

Who pays $300 for a bag?!? Oh yeah, I forgot this is CC…

Wow, I’ve never been so happy to live in a small rural area… I seriously can’t believe how much some of you are paying, but I guess more power to you. When I went it cost $11 for the corsage, just wore a suit I already had, and tickets were free cause my gf was queen last year, I guess a little more if you count gas. She had the boutineer and borrowed a dress and got shoes so probably like $50… I didn’t think anything of it but now I feel ridiculously frugal

^^^ If you want to hear about frugal, my sister’s prom dress cost four dollars. $4. That’s it.
Of course, she did spend a bit more on shoes. But no limo, no fancy clutch. $4 +shoes.

^^If it was vintage, then that $4 is well worth it.

^^ Less than $20 for dress, shoes, and hair. That is frugal.

dress-$160
shoes-$15
hair and nails- $40-$50?
no limo
Boutonniere- No idea. My boyfriend is ordering his own (:
Ticket- $67
Tanning- free in my back yard
Total: almost $300

Tickets - $110 (x2 because I’m paying for my gf :frowning: why is my school so freakin expensive?)
Tux - $150ish
Limo - 150 (x2 because I’m paying for my gf :frowning: )
Corsage - $40ish
Afterprom - gf’s house in the Hamptons with friends $0 thank goodness
I know my gf’s dress is $300ish
Total that I spend: $710???

Wow, up until now, I didn’t realize how much I would be spending on it. At least, everything is already paid for and ready.

pkwsurf21…where is your prom?? ours is at east windd and i think tickets are like 120, thats what theyve been the past few years i think li is just crazyyy expensive. I love how its the LI people spending 700+ lol

For me:
