hmm..well I haven't went to my prom yet. Ours is not until May 21st.
$20 - dress
$8 -clutch
$15 - SUV rental car
$45 - prom ticket
$13 - shoes
$10 - tiara
Total: $111
I'm doing my own prom up-do and make up to save money.

How did you manage to find a dress for 20 bucks?

lol I brought it online from Ebay. Its really nice too…hot pink w/beaded rhinestones and sphaghetti straps. Retail price was $99! =P I got an awesome deal. I’m not going to spend hundreds for a dress that you only going to wear for four hours and never wear it again after. Total waste of money.

45 for a prom ticket!?
Ours are 100+

haha yeah…only 45 for singles, couples are 85.
Without ASB Card, it will be 50 for singles, and 95 for couples.

Our prom ticket is $15.

80 for tickets (40 each includes dinner), 150 for tux, 250 for hotel room, 20 for corsage.

Was it worth it? Sure.

$25 for ticket, but I don’t pay because I’m on Student Government
$300 dress
$100 shoes
$50 makeup
Borrowing mom’s BMW
Doing my own hair
Close friend’s parents paying for the caterer for dinner at her house for about 25 of us

Not taking a date, as mine (from another school) bailed out last week, and I’m going with a huge group anyhow… Not everyone has dates so it doesn’t matter.

This is my third prom though… School is so small (~300 in the high school), prom is open to everyone in the high school (K-12 school)

-Free ticket
-Dress: $300, was a gift from parents
-Limo & Dinner: $95
-Hair: $55
-Make-up: $50

big waste of money

I think I spent 139 dollars on a dress, since I’m a senior and that was my only prom, plus twenty dollars or so on make-up/accessories, and thirteen dollars on jewelery…

thirteen dollars on food since we couldn’t find the restaurant we were SUPPOSED to go to, but ended up going to TGIFridays and getting a really cute waiter ;)

Fifty-five dollars for the actual ticket and about thirty dollars for hair…so…

in total?
around $270

Junior here

Tux 140
Dinner for two 35 or so (relatively cheap so that was good)
Flowers 25
Tickets 40, 20 each (seniors are free, sucks for me)

probably about 250 or so, sure i forgot a thing or two

I posted this on another thread. It was a lot! like plus $600. It hurts too much write the actual amount because it reminds me of how much money I spent on this event.

$300 dress
$40 shoes (Filene’s Basement. Love.)
$67 ticket (includes dinner and post prom (prison))
$9 bag

…I did my own makeup. And wore my mom’s jewelry. And had my dad drive me to prom and back (I was supposed to go from prom straight to Fordham, so it was my only option.)

$45 dress
$60 ticket
$20 ride

and my date covered flowers/the rest…

wow only 60 bucks? and i thought highlanders were expensive

whoa. creeper. where do you live…?

i paid late too lol. it was originally like 53.

that in itself is ironic

Dress $65
Prom Ticket $0 (we don’t have to pay unless we bring an underclassmen or someone from a different school)
Updo $40
and thats all i paid a total of $105 which is pretty cheap all of the girls in my class pretty much wore $400+ dresses ( i know pricey right?)

Ticket: $ 70.00

Dress: $ 135.00

Shoes: $ 40.00

12-Passenger Limo: $ 72.00 (per person)

Grand Total: drum roll

$ 312.00

I don’t think that’s a lot of money because (like biogirl007 mentioned) there are a lot of girls who come to Prom in $400.00 dresses.
