Buying prom tickets!

<p>So senior prom's just around the corner...</p>

<p>Girls, do you expect your dates to pay for your ticket? Would you want him to do so?</p>

<p>Guys, how do you feel about paying for the tickets?</p>

<p>Mine are $125 for couples. I feel obligated to pay (don’t know why).</p>

<p>I'm going to junior prom, but bids for both are $100 dollars a couple. And yeah, for some reason, I feel obligated to pay too.</p>

depends if the date is worthy enough.....but hey girls have to understand something......we have money issues too.....renting tux....paying for limo....the hotel.......we have to pay for our part of the deal.......and then adding another 100 dollars get really expensive cuz it all adds up in the end</p>

<p>At my school, most of the girls pay for their part of the ticket, if not all.</p>

<p>I would expect the guy to buy the tickets if he asked me to the prom. If I asked, then I would pay. The past two junior prom per-couple ticket prices have been really cheap: $55 in 2005 and $50 this year.
The class officers who plan prom organize a lot of fundraising starting freshman year, and so by the time prom planning comes around, the piggy bank is chock full of moolah :)</p>

<p>Wow. I think our prom tickets are around $20 a person. Not sure though. Formal is about $20, and I think prom is about the same.</p>

<p>Yes, I expect my guy to buy me a ticket IF I have a prom date. >] But knowing me, I don't think I'll have a prom date at my school. ;-; Oh pooey! :] Oh well, at least I get to hang out with all my girl friends and make the guys jealous. Muwhahaha! ><; Man, I'm so bad.</p>
