I took a practice ACT test at my school in January and i just now got my scores. C:27 E:24 M:30 R:26 S:27 Back then I actually had no idea what the ACT composed of so I basically took it cold. I'm taking the real ACT in September, how much do you guys think I can improve by? My goal is at least a 31.
I know I can go really well on math, so I'm not worried about that. And as for English, I have learned a lot of grammar rules after I took the test; however, I still need tips!
Reading is my main problem. English is my 3rd language and it's kind of hard for me (Well atleast on the SATs, since it composed of so many trick questions. I've heard ACT has straight forward questions so maybe I can improve a lot?)
So, how much improvement is realistic?

Bumpppp help me pleaseeee

Depends on how much you practice. The more practice, the higher score you will probably get. English is the easiet section to improve on. I went from a 22 to a 32. Buy the red book and finish each test as well as throughly read each question explanation and you should be improving.

A 31 is possibly, just practice a lot and you should be on your way.

Yes you can! Mine went up 10 points!!

@ketann thank you! how can I improve reading? What strategies do you use?
