How much can you raise your GPA with only two semesters left?

I am finishing off my junior year of college with a 3.22 overall. Not all that impressive, but a big improvement from the 2.6 I had at the end of my freshman year!
I was actually surprised at how quickly I was able to get back over a 3.0 after such a rough start. How realistic is it to raise it close to a 3.5 before graduation? I’m 6 hours this summer and 18 hours in both the fall and spring semesters, and have 102 hours total.

You can calculate the grade points for your existing 102 hours * 3.22 (assuming that they are all graded, as opposed to passed / not-passed grades that are not included in GPA), add them to the maximum possible grade points for your future courses, as in (6 + 18 + 18 hours) * 4.0, and then divide by the total hours to get the maximum possible GPA you could get.

Google “online GPA calculator” – there are tons of them. Or you can figure out the answer by creating a simple spreadsheet or using basic algebra.

Or I could ask on a forum

Thank you!

Mathematically impossible to get a 3.450 or higher.

You will likely run into problems if you count on online strangers to solve your problems. The answer above may be right. Or it might not be.

I suggest you learn to fish.

Right, my point is just that it’s an internet forum and I can ask people for advice on it if I feel like it. I’ve never understood why people waste the time to answer a question, only to tell them they were foolish for asking a question on an internet forum in the first place.
