@dancingwriter, that math improvement is an inspiration haha! My worse section is math, I stand at 630 and hope to raise it substantially :/

@auditi5, woooww, you must be so happy!
Does a 2400 mean you got every question right?

@Tvistz
Hopefully I remember this correctly! But no, (thankfully) because of the curve I did not get every question right. I believe I missed zero in math, missed one and omitted one for CR, and missed one MC with an 11 essay for writing.

You said your worst section is math, well, I got a 680 in math on my first SAT! So I improved quite a lot and I bet you will too.

I got from 1300 last summer to 2300 this fall. All I can say is practise, practise, practise. You’ll find it really isn’t very difficult, and that anyone (with the right amount of work) can manage it. I recommend getting the blue collegeboard book; the questions are most accurate. Ditch the Barrons for reading and writing as their answers are often very disputable. Don’t stress over vocabulary either. If you find that you tend to miss the final one or two complete the sentence questions on each reading section, memorise some word roots and you’ll be able to reason it out.

How did you get a perfect score on Math?! My Critical Reading and Writing scores are high, but it’s my Math bringing me down! I have studied for Math, but to me it seems like the Math problems I practiced are a lot easier than the actual test…

First practice test:1500ish
First real test:1880
Second real test: 2030
