<p>Yea, i go to a catholic private school and religion is required for all four years. Do they just set it aside?</p>
<p>If it's not in the core courses (English, math, history, science, language), it's ignored, unless it's an advanced course like AP.</p>
<p>Hahaha. AP Religion. I'd definitely love to take that. You know how GREAT it would look on my college applications, right? ;) </p>
<p>And no, colleges do not even pay attention to these classes. They're just calculated into your GPA for school though... so you have to pay attention. Grr.</p>
<p>I guess the underlying question is whether these colleges look at straight GPA or GPA of classes they care about (not religion.)</p>
