We all know that two foreign languages are required by most colleges, but they recommend four. How much of a difference would it make if you had three compared to four? Four compared to five?

Most colleges actually require six years of a foreign language (two from a middle school). However, all of them realize that not everybody in the country is offered a foreign language at middle school. Those who do have six years are almost guarentted admission into most of the schools that they want. If you have three, four, or five years under your belt, it will never come as close as to the six years of a foreign language that some have, and your chances of getting into a good school are very limitied. If you happen to only have three, I would consider a community college. Four? Perhaps in-state (if your lucky).

That was the most idiotic post I have ever read in my entire life.

Harvard doesn’t even have a 4 year language requirement, you stupid pretentious ******bag.
