How Much do I do While Waiting?

I applied for transfer from community college to ten schools: Michigan, Michigan State, Harvard, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Cornell, NYU, Columbia, Penn, and Brown.

I was accepted to Michigan and Michigan State, and am waiting to hear from the rest.

I have sent Michigan my $300 enrollment deposit due today, and withdrawn my app from Michigan State.

My question is, how much do I commit to Michigan? Judging by the schools I’m waiting to hear from, it’s not entirely unlikely I don’t receive another acceptance. And for what it’s worth, I would have NO issue going to Michigan.

But do I fill out a housing application? Schedule orientation? How much is too much to do before I’ve heard back from all of my options?

Do you have an idea of when you’ll hear from the rest? What is the deadline for Michigan’s housing application and other required paperwork?

im in the same boat! I’m probably going to end up just doing the housing but waiting on scheduling orientation/ the transfer-mentorship program. housing is due the 4th or 5th of may? but you should get it done by the 4th just to be extra safe.
