As a student, I tend to have lower grades towards the beginning of the year, and as the year progresses, my grades improve as I become more acclimated to my environment. Since I am applying early action to many schools, I’m wondering to what extent will my relatively lower grades will impact my admissions decision?
This is asked a lot and it depends on the school. The school wants to see that you can handle college classes and your not blowing off senior year and having senioritits. Just do the best you can. Most schools are going to want to see your first semester to mid year grades. Get help from your teachers if you think you need it.
