I’ve always got A’s until this year. My midyear report will have 3 Bs and 2 As. Can I still get into the ivy-league? Someone told me that schools understand a senior slippage, because students are busy with apps, etc. Any takes on this?

What classes did you get those B's in?

Poor midyear reports may be an easy way to trim the fat and get through those 22000 applications. 3 Bs isn't killer, but because they are all in one semester it looks worse than having them spread out. I really have no idea how Penn is going to interpret your grades, but the better the rest of your application is, the less likely grades are going to keep you out.
