I've been dying of sleep deprivation lately, so I thought I'd make this thread and see how much sleep others are getting/how to deal with it.

Usually around 6 hours a night.
I don’t “go to bed,” per se, I just read or mess around on the computer until I fall asleep. If I just lie in my bed and do nothing I tend to have awful insomnia and then nightmares. When I’m really tired I can avoid that.

ideally, I get into bed by 9 or 10 (it also takes time for me to go to sleep after lyinh down). I have to wake up around 6.

I’m one of those people who REALLY needs her sleep

I tend to get about 7-9 hours of sleep. I don’t if I’m an insomniac, but lately I’ve been getting an aversion to sleep. I’m feel myself getting the headaches that come with staying up too late, but I don’t want to go to sleep…

Other than that I get lots of sleep!

on week nights around 7, weekends around 10+ lol. I really like to sleep, just don’t get to do so as much as I’d like on school nights :/

this isn’t always consistent though, I get frequent bouts of insomnia :(

7-8.5 on weekdays, 8-9 on weekends. A) I generally feel really motivated to do hw at night and b) I work mornings on the weekend. I have some awesome vivid dreams when I sleep for awhile.

I sleep between 7.5-8 hours on week days and 8-9 on weekends. I try not to procrastinate and work out most of the days. I have friends that are taking easier classes and sleep less because they procrastinate a lot.

Around 7 hours on weekdays, and 9 hours on weekends.

Usually 0-3 hours on weekdays, and over 12 hours on weekends

Usually around 5-6 on weekdays, and around 7-8 on weekends. Some days it hits me harder than others, and I try to nap if I can during the day.

Around 7 on weekdays, and 11 on the weekend.

4.5-6 hours on weekdays, 8-10 on the weekends.

I sleep WAYYY too much! I take a lot of naps throughout the day so idk how long for sure.

6 Hours during the week and 10+ on the weekend although I have noticed that I’ve been getting up after 6-7 hours naturally. And I just like sleep but am a night person so they don’t go together very well.

There’s an interesting article about this in the Huffington Post. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to link to it. I always get in trouble with the moderators, so search:

4-6 hours on weekdays. Like forever on weekends.
This doesn’t include post-school naps that I take fairly frequently, though.

5-6 hours on weekdays, and like 7-8 on weekends

I think I sleep a little too much, but I get about 7-8 on both weekdays and weekends. I set an alarm on weekends because I don’t want to spend half of my precious weekend snoozing.

7.5-8 hrs on school days, and maybe about 8-9 on weekends. An easy way to tell if you’re getting enough sleep or not is whether or not you need an alarm clock to wake up. If you do you’re not getting enough sleep, if you don’t then you are.

5-6 hours on weekdays. It varies greatly on weekends.
