How much do you sleep?

6 hrs during the week(going to bed at 1:00AM waking up at 7:00AM) and 5 hrs on weekend (going to bed at 3:00AM waking up at 8:00AM for work)

3-6 weekdays, usually about 12 weekends (2am to 2pm)

wow everyone here sleeps so little.
I sleep 9 hours on weekdays. 10-11 hours on weekends

I get to bed at a pretty good time. But I think I have a mild case of insomia and it takes me 1-2 hours to fall asleep. So during the weekdays, I get 6-7 hours of sleep. On weekends, it's more like 9-10 hours.

20 hours total over a 5 day week. 30 hours on weekends.

6ish on weekdays, 7-8 on weekends

6-7 on weekdays (a good day i go to sleep @ 10, bad at 11, and i wake up at 5:30)

8 on weekends

ugh im jealous i get max 4 hours a night. im like a living insomniac half the time when i get time to sleep

... i he'ard some ppl don't need that much sleep and they do just fine

do any of y'all think it's possible to "train" yourself to run on less sleep? (like say... 4 or 5 hours EVERY day)

i mean, if i could do that, wow, i'd have so much more time to do crap

camp, i've kind of done that. i don't know if i've "trained" myself, or if it just comes naturally with getting older, but i used to need 8 hours a night...now i regularly function on 4.

but it's not really as helpful as it seems, i sometimes wind up taking random naps, and it's hard for me to motivate myself to spend every waking moment doing something productive. in fact i spend the overwhelming majority of my waking moments doing worthless things. case in point: right now.

"When you have insomnia, you're never really asleep... and you're never really awake."

name the movie!

fight club. yay! do i get a prize?

i've slowly needed less and less sleep to function, but now i think my calc teacher hates me bc i always doze off whenever he starts talking about math. :(

your prize is that you get to be cool, because fight club rocks. oh and your other prize is that you get to post in the word association thread. =P

i actually took a nap in AP physics today. my teacher was trying to figure out some derivation, and nobody was paying attention. i just laid down on my desk, had my friend sitting in front of me shift over a little to block the teacher's view, and took a decent 20-minute nap.

... The first rule about fight club, is that you do not talk about fight club!

lol, in a video game related to star wars, some ppl actually made a "Jedi Fight Club" = LoL!

i'm gonna try to train myself on that four hour crap! w00t!... then'll probably lose motivation like in about... a day... like most of the things i do

Questio nthough guys, can you EFFICIENTLY run urself with only 4 hours? like u can feel SOMEWHAT ok, and not liek collapsing on the ground after running 400 meters?

i find that i hit certain bubbles of energy during the day. like, from 7am until 10am, i'm dead (might explain my crappy grades in my first three hours...). at about 10 to 10:30, i kind of wake up, and i function pretty well until around 5:30, when i get home from school. then i kind of space out for about four hours, and at about 10:00 i wake up again until about 2.

the rat race, ladies and gentlemen.

oh i love fight club.

it is soooo good.

it makes you wonder for my fellow insomniacs?

what if we had another personality, training to lead a mass revolution?

or if you banged some girl and never knew it until... or if you saw urself getting beat up by an invisible thing on a security camera

i do hope so, but i doubt i'm nearly that interesting. what would my pent up rage be directed against anyway? republicans? can't find many within a hundred mile radius of this place.

meh... i'm not exactly a "republican" per se (consdier myself a moderate) but i usually do follow with them most

I support: Stem Cell Research, Death Penalty, War in Iraq, abortion (women's right to choose)
Do not support: Affirmative Action, Having disapproportionate taxes for wealthy, Gay Marriage, Bloody LIberals (heh, heh)

hmm by disproportionate taxes do you mean that tax bracket system makes them pay more or that they get tax cuts?

lol, young republicans club in our school has approximately ten members.

make them pay more

you live in... middle? east coast? west coast?
