How much does going to Nationals in competitions matter?

<p>I just came back from a 2nd place at National Science Bowl and I still have Science Olympiad, History Day, and Future Business Leaders of America.</p>

<p>This is all taking a lot of time and making my schedule pretty hectic. How much does it really help?</p>
