hey guys...just wanted to know if anyone has valid information on how important sat 2s are for upenn (wharton). one of the things that struck me was that theyrs no place for sat 2 in the "requirements" section of penn portal ? so how important could it be ?

I’m not so sure, but if you go here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/781931-what-good-sat-ii-score.html (another thread), it’ll give you the needed ranges.

thanks but i was wondering if anyone knows how important they are specifically for upenn.

Penn is a top university. Although it looks at apps holistically, You can’t be absolutely terrible at anything. You must be good at everything.

As a guideline 700+ is fine. Lower than that might be worrisome.

^^Agree with the person above. The general consensus for Penn and the other Ivy’s are 700+ is good, 750+ is excellent, and 800 of course, is absolutely amazing.

But that doesn’t hold up for math does it. Im sure UPenn will get more 750+ Math II score that it will, say, Lit or History. Does the subject in which you score a 750+ matter? Or, are all 750+'s viewed the same?
