Hi there. I am applying ED to UMiami and I am a legacy applicant. I am a well-rounded student that fits the criteria: I have taken ap classes and honors classes, I have been on sports teams inside and outside of school, I’m part of the national honor society, I have had multiple leadership positions, and so on. I am not a perfect student but I have mostly A’s and B’s but the problem is my sat score. My math is a 660 which is in the middle but my reading is a 590. I hope my ed and legacy can pull through… any thoughts?
You are probably a borderline student due to your Reading score, but this will be offet by legacy and applying ED. You should probably take the SAT again in December in case you get deferred. Good luck!
