How much harder is barrons?

I'm a little worried. I just took the barrons diagnostic test for Math2 and I got a 650. I plan to study a lot this summer, and I've heard that the barrons tests are tougher than the actual test, but how much can I pull this up?

I'm really shooting for at LEAST low 700s. I would really want to be in the low to mid 700s. I feel like I am really far off right now.

Sooo... how much harder are the barrons test? With studying, do I have a shot at my target scores, or should I look to some different SAT2s.

Cornell is the only school I'm applying to that REQUIRES SAT2s.... I find it quite annoying. :)

I used Barron’s for Math2 as well

When i took the diagnostic (after taking precalc on the first day of summer i think i scored a 770 after adjusting by grade with 50 points because of the curve).

I didn’t bother touching the book again until the day before the test. I took the 1st practice test. I scored a 630 lol. I was freaking out at that point and managed to read through the entire book that night and do the practice problems at the end of each chapter. I ended up with an 800 on the actual test and the book probably only raised by score by around ~30 points in hindsight.

Barron’s is unnecessarily tough, but I like it because it makes the actual test look like a joke

Barron’s will make you freak out till test day for sure. But, if you can keep your cool, the actual test will be like a joke to you. I started to study the night before the test and took all of the prac tests. I got somewhere around low 700s and ended up scoring 780 on the actual test. Good luck

thanks DCK7?

any others feel this way?

Yes. It’s 100% true. I was literally failing those Barron’s tests [getting like low 600’s on every one] and I ended up with a 710 [which was good enough for me]!
