How much money do people making working in the "Big 4"

????

just curious

Holland & Associates, LTD. Baltimore Accounting Jobs, Eastern Shore Accounting Jobs, Maryland Tax Jobs

I haven't any experience in the Big 4, so this could be wrong for all I know.

If you're not a partner, then you don't make much at all (hit six figures and that's it). but if you're a senior partner, you make millions.

^^^

how many years approximately would it take to be making 6 figures?

Here are some rough estimates that I have heard, keep in mind, your city/cost of living factors in. this is based from what i've heard in LA.

starting 50-55K

senior (2 years) - 68-70K

manager (5 years) - 95-100K ??

partner - (12+ yrs) - 250-500k

As an intern you'll receive a sign-on bonus for $1500-$2000 at each of the big 4. Your hourly wage will be based on a $50,000 salary (annualized to ~$24/hour) plus overtime.

For a full time position you will receive a sign-on bonus for around $2000. Base salaries are apprx. $50,000. Expect to receive about a 10% raise each year. If you pass the CPA, you'll be given a $5000 bonus within one year. It decreases to $3000 after 1 year...after that point I don't remember. You will also be eligible for end-of-year bonuses for a few thousand each year.

These are based on Chicago offices...I don't know how much it varies in other locations.
