How much money do you want to earn to consider yourself "Successful"

When you become older, how much moolah will you need to consider yourself succesful?
Is it 60k or 600k. Or, does money not matter that much to you? Are you someone who is not interested in finances?

Exactly $0.00

^yeah what he said

To me, success isn’t about money. I will probably make very little money in my career, and I don’t care.

Success is not measured by material items, but by personal satisfaction.

richest man in the world!:-)

enough that I don’t have to stress over not having enough.

yeah, as much as I’d like to say money isn’t at all important to me I’d like to have enough to be able to live worry-free. It’d be nice to have a little extra, too, to indulge occasionally and donate (:

600k. Make it rain.

Enough to not regret my choice of career.

And I’m a loser, so really my highest goals are to be employed and make enough to live on.

Enough so that I can live well and provide myself and my future family with gifts.

Millions. I hope to be able to retire by 30.

I’d say 200K

I used to think that all I needed was money to make myself happy. That Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s are all that I needed for personal satisfaction.

But I was wrong. Completely wrong, as a matter of fact. It’s not money that brings me satisfaction, or makes me feel pride, it’s accomplishment, and success. Wealth is just a side-benefit. I realized that I want to do something new and different; I wanted to change the world, and all the opulence and grandeur couldn’t satisfy that.

Honestly, money isn’t a true concern of mine. Failure is. Not failure in any specific endeavor, but failing in my life to leave my mark on society. Failing as a human being; become complacent in my successes, become obsessed with my defeats, and being afraid to take risks. If I die poor, but am able to avoid all of that, and leave my mark on the world, I will be satisfied.

I’m determined to be the first trillionaire.

I don’t care about money that much… I’d like to live well, but not be super rich.

A small house with a garage, a '69 GTO convertible, a membership to a nice golf club, and a large cabin cruiser… When I can afford all of that, I’ll be content with my earnings, and can just work to make a living.

I do not really measure success by money, as long as I have enough to live off of without having to worry. I would mostly base it on

1) my overall contentment with my life, achievements, and actions

2) happiness

3) whether I feel that my life has been meaningful and beneficial for someone or something beyond myself

friends who love me for being myself… and love me anyway = success

Once I can buy two countries so I can use the citizens as chess pieces, I will know that I am rich enough.

Success isn’t all about money, of course but I want enough money so I just don’t have to worry about taking my possible progeny on vacation or paying for their college educations, buying good real estate, donating to charity etc.
