How much money do you want to earn to consider yourself "Successful"

I don’t know of I would consider myself a complete failure if this didn’t happen, but I’d like to make enough to at least maintain the life I’m living right now on how my parents provide, which is a comfortable living. To me that means making enough to save to buy a house and car, and then enough to have plenty to pay the bills each month, enough to save some for retirement, savings, and kids college, and enough to have a little left over for unnecessary purchases.

Basically I never want to live paycheck to paycheck and never want to have to really worry about money. I’m not asking to be super rich, just to have enough. So in numbers, I’d say for a family of 4, I’d want a household income of 100,000.

I don’t think success is measured by money or material things. I think everyone has their own definition of success so I think that’s personal.
But due to the life I live/lived, I will like to be making enough to not worry about things or figure out how things are going to be done. I’m a girl and well… I like to shop. So although my happiness does not depend on my wealth, I plan on being a millionaire. :)

So much money it hurts.

I’m going to buy Australia, carve my face into it using explosives, and then take a space shuttle into orbit and take a picture of it.

That’s success.
