How much of an advantage is it to apply without financial aid as an international?

I'm a Canadian permanent resident and thinking about applying to Stanford paying full. My chance is quite low I think. How much would no finaid help?

I think it puts your chances at the same level as US citizens (~10-12%)

it wouldn't help at all. When you apply for Stanford, they don't look at financial need at all.

for internationals they do look at financial aid before making a decision.

oh really interesting. Could you provide me with the link on the Stanford Website that says so?

"Stanford adheres to a need-blind admission policy (except
in the case of non-U.S. citizens and non-U.S. Permanent
Residents); your financial status is not a factor in our
admission decision."

4th page in the applying guide under "Applying for Financial Aid"

oh ic. That sucks man. But really, I don't think it will matter, but at least it wont hurt.
