<p>Here is a list from USNR from which you can cull scholarships data. Not sure how meaningful it is since, apparently, you cd be receiving $500 for some scholarship and make it on their ‘pct receiving merit aid’ list.</p>

<p>the U of Alabama sounds like a record breaker. Is there some sort of fine print that there is only 10 of them available, eg? Since it is a public state U, my guess it will tend to be not uber selective.</p>

<p>But the 'autmatic academic scholarships ’ might be what the OP was getting at (except for that pesky GPA thang), and maybe what the U of A person was citing. HEre is another one, but nowhere near as good as the U of A deal (9k out of what, 30 someK tution plus room and board?)
