3-6 hours most nights. Zero naps. 7 days a week.

I generally sleep 7.5 -8 hours a night. I usually get to bed by 10:30 (or 11 now for Intersession and weekends) on schooldays and wake up by 7:45 for my 9AM (I have a 20 mile commute).

I always have to get my work done by 8:30 PM. Any later, and I can't concentrate and consequently, do poorly.

in HS, but normally go to bed about 1 and get up at 615... so 5 hours
i nap on tuesdays and fridays...
friday night i go to bed about 3 and get up at nine so 6 hours
Saturday night, i go to bed at 1 and sleep until 3, so 14 hours

i think the lack of sleep is mainly due to pleasures and outside of school work. not to mention extra curr and clubs. i usually sleep after 1 am, sometimes 1-2 hours, and usually get up two hours before class starts. class is usually at 9 or 10. about 5-6 hours/night.

Update since the semester started:
TR I have class at 8, 11, and 2 plus pilates at 5. I try to go to bed by 12-12:30 on MW (I'm about to go to bed soon, and it's midnight here), and get up around 7-7:15. (so about 7hrs) MWF only have class at 11 and 3, but typically go to bed around 12:30-1 the night before because I'm really tired from TR (usually 8.5-9 hours depending on if I get up at 9:30 or 10). Friday/Saturday I usually stay out til 2 or 3, but I sleep til about noon the next day (9-10hrs).

Since I have school every other day, I would get 4 hours of sleep on one day and then sleep in for 9 hours on the next. I supposed too much fluctuation isn't good for my body but I can't help it. There are too much distractions during the day so I found it much more helpful to study at night.

As much as I need....

I Slept Through Class :: college class notes usually has my notes posted.

3-5 hr, but usually about 4 every day, including on the weekends. I go to sleep between 3:30am to 5am.

I'd average 6-8 hours a night. 10 on weekends. I go to bed after midnight, usually between 1 and 2, sometimes later if I don't have 9:30 class the next day. I do get enough sleep, but if I don't it's either because of a test/project/paper or I went out that night.

I sleep whenever my body gets tired. I'll admit my schedule is very erratic, and I'm sure experts would say not following a schedule is unhealthy. But whatever. I find my life is easier when I don't really follow a sleep schedule.

Crap, I've been sleeping for 10-12 hrs for the last couple of days. Better learn to cut down or I'm gonna get ****ed.

I too average around 6-8 on weekdays depending on which days I had early morning classes. 8am classes kill! and sleeping at 2am doesn’t help either.

1 hr when pulling all-nighters with adderall/modafinil

9-12 hrs the next night if all-nighter pulled with adderall; 5-8 hours if all-nighter pulled with modafinil

rinse and repeat.

Well I’m in high school but I get about 6-9 hours.

7 hours of really bad sleep. The bed in my dorm is awful. My dorm is awful. It’s like a god damn prison cell except I get a computer and phone.

7-10 hours of sleep, pretty surprised by those guys who sleep 3-6 hours a night in this thread…

I have a question to those of you who get less than 5 hours of sleep.

Do you play collegiate athletics? I would imagine that it’s difficult to sustain a solid athletic performance while sleep-deprived.

Every night (literally every night) last semester I averaged between 8-10 hours a night with a full course load of 18 credits. It’s really all about time management… Even this semester, with 20 credits I’m averaging between 7-8 hours a night, every night.

5 hours. Which sucks because I love sleeping.

Last semester I averaged around 4 hours a night. I’m a night owl, so I generally don’t go to sleep until 2:00 am. My classes for next semester will start early in the morning, so unless I change my sleeping habits, I’m in for a lot of trouble. Plus, I commute to school.
