How much would you say you get on a weekday and a weekend? Do you get more sleep compared to high school/middle school or less?
If you make sleep a priority, you can get plenty. I average 6.5 - 8 hours on weekdays.
There are a couple of funny columns and sites about this.

This one is great—see the relationship between college ratings and sleep patterns : https://jawbone.com/blog/university-students-sleep/
I don’t get a ton of sleep but it’s not the product of schoolwork or anything like that. I just end up watching TV way too late and then go to sleep at like midnight. (I wake up pretty early since I commute.) I usually get 6-8 hours on an average weekday. On weekends, it’s around 10 hours.
I also take naps most days.
When I was in college I would say I averaged between 5 and 7 hours a night. I would not advise this.
Make sleep a priority. Adolescents and young adults actually need more sleep than older adults. Try to get 8-9 hours of sleep a night - uninterrupted. Sleeping 4 hours here and 4 hours there isn’t as good as a solid 8 hours.
I usually stay up late (until around 3:00 a.m.) doing schoolwork, and I end up getting six to eight hours of sleep. Sometimes I take a nap during the day. Oddly, this is more sleep than I got in middle and high school (even though I have a lot more work). Back then, I couldn’t use the Internet during the day so I stayed up all night using it. I didn’t feel tired until the next morning, so there didn’t seem to be any drawbacks. In eighth grade, I once stayed awake for 72 hours. Nowadays, I seem to be physically incapable of staying up all night. I’m addicted to caffeine by way of Diet Coke, so it doesn’t have any effect on me other than preventing headaches.
My D aims for 8 hours a night, but that requires lights out at 10:30. This has been problematic in her first semester tripled dorm room, not so much now that she’s in a single.
On weekends i even get, like 8-9.But on weekdays like,6.I stay up till cause there are just too many exams,or assignments:( In fact college is way more tiring that high school in every way possible .But try to get as much sleep as you can,as it will help in many ways.
For a strange reason I got more sleep in high school compared to middle school. I guess it is because I managed my time better?
I know that in South Korea high school students there get almost no sleep (like 2-4 hours). Crazy right? I spoke to one of my Korean friends and they said that sleeping over 5 hours is considered way too much and that you won’t get into a good college. They still perform well in school though…
