In one of my classes I get a C+ [long story as to why], with all A's so far otherwise. Therefore my overall GPA is still intact and will likely dilute the effect of the C+ until law school applications - will this grade matter at all if it doesn't affect my GPA too much in the end or should I include a note in the law school application about it? It was a freshman year intro class grade too.

No it won’t matter much. Why would you be penalized more for a C+ than for 2 Bs? I think adding a note is a bit much.

as long as your overall GPA is good, it wont matter much, probably not at all.
