How much preparation do you think is needed to get a good score on the US History Sat II? There's a little under 2 months until the test and I haven't studied at all yet, should I start really soon? Should I wait until the middle of September? Any answers would be great.

Have you taken US History before? Because there is A LOT of information to know. If you haven't taken a class in school you should definitely start now and not wait until the middle of September..that would only give you 2 weeks to study 500 years of history! US history is relatively short but very "dense" with information. I had a whole year's worth of preparation and didn't do that well on the subject test.

Yes, I took it this past year.

why haven't u started studying?

There's a lot to study for the US History and even then, there's the possibility that something you don't know pops up on the test. If you do some cramming for 7 weeks, though, you might be able to make a decent score.

rofl I took it and world history without a class, studied World history for 1 week and U.S. for about 4 days, and I got two 800s.

ur a fuggin beast
