Several times a day.

I’m heading to college in the fall so my email is through my college portal. I check it a few times a day…today I got my mailbox assignment! ^^

My S, 19, checks his if I remind him. Often the adults in his life (professors, possible employers, his parents) send him emails, and I know this, but he doesn’t seem concerned about missing important info for days at a time.

I check mine frequently throughout the day.

My email account is connected to my phone so I’m basically always connected. When I get on the computer it’s the first thing I check, and I constantly refresh my browser. I get college, volunteering, business, school, and personal emails, as well as endless forwarded emails from my grandparents. I’m definitely check my email more than Facebook, but not as much as Twitter. I’m a rising high school senior BTW.

I check my about twice or more a day to keep track of things. Only on my computer though…I don’t have internet on my phone.

I have various email accounts but the one I check the most (except for summer) is the one I use for school related things.

I use e-mail for sending documents to my friends, mainly regarding schoolwork or if we’re coordinating projects. It’s also the main form of communication with my teachers.

Several times a day, for college announcements, sat question of the day, emails from teachers, emails with friends who don’t use facebook as much

I check my email many times a day.

IMO, the age of making lunch plans via email is over. But, email is still useful for mailing lists, newsletters, the business world, academia, etc.

I constantly check my email when I’m at my computer. I use gmail, so I have the gmail notifier which alerts me when I have new mail.

I’m going to be a third year in college. Not only do I check my email multiple times a day, I get alerts sent to my phone when an email comes in. My work depends on me being able to respond to emails quickly.

The older you get, the more your life will revolve around email. In college, nearly everything was through email – class assignments, discussions with professors, communications with the University.

Now that I’m in grad school AND hold a job at a major corporation, I use email in about 90% of my communications. Facebook, Twitter, etc. are really unprofessional. I even disabled messages on my Facebook profile as I’d rather people contact me via email. It all comes to my phone, it’s easy to sort and keep in check – and trust me, sorting and organizing email is a godsend! Try doing that with your Facebook messages. (Hint: It’s impossible.)

Seriously, like 10 times a day. :)

Definitely, twice everyday.

I check mine several times a day (4-8 times, easily).

Although 60% of my emails are trash, including 419 emails (Nigerian Princess Scams) and annoying emails from companies advertising.

about 5-6 times a day. mostly college stuff…

a lot. it’s like having your own uber powerful, super private messaging system…no way facebook etc can replace it

My internship and summer program are almost entirely and partially web-based, respectively. I practically live in my Gmail and Google Docs right now. Case in point - according to RescueTime, I’ve spent almost 6 hours in Gmail just today.

I still believe that Email is the BEST! I check my email at least 12 times a day, and its NEVER about junk mail.

At least 1 or 2 times a day since I can check on my phone.

probably about every hour on the computer or about 10 times a day.
