I don’t plan on going to a lot of parties, and I don’t plan on going to things where there’s underage drinking involved. It’s not my type of group.

Every Sunday. I picked this up from my mom because she does laundry every Sunday. Plus it’s the end of the week so you rack up all the dirty clothes from the previous 6 days.

And LOL @ RoxSox, she’s not lying. Guess who was the dumbass to wear white jeans to a house party. :p

Dude, you do NOT need five pairs of tennis shoes. That’s way overboard. Ballet flats and boots are fine, and maybe one pair of tennis shoes. I took six pairs, and only wore 3 on any sort of regular basis.

Also, scientific studies have shown that Uggs are bad for your feet/back, so I would cut back on wearing those.

I personally envy the amount of shoes you have (but not the type). I’m a guy though.

Sailing shoes, dress shoes, flip flops, sandals, boots, light trainers, basketball trainers…the numbers are piling already. No idea how I’m gonna bring all that across the Atlantic. Not to mention shirts, t-shirts, jackets, trousers, shorts, etc.

Balls.

Ok, maybe not 5. My mom will make me take those regular/everyday type/gym shoes, and then maybe 2-3 of the fashion Coach tennis shoes and leave 1-2 of them at home to wear when I visit.

I love Uggs though! If you lived in MN or in any place that’s cold in the winter, you’d probably change your mind too. Ballet flats are just as bad for your feet as Uggs are, actually.

Jesus Christ… the more and more you post the more I picture you as one of those air heads on MTV or something… or I guess just a teenage girl (like earlier)

Laundry: when I run out of clean boxers.

Shoes: Tennis Shoes (20% of year) Boots (80% of year) Indoor Cleats and Outdoor Cleats.

LOL. You guys are silly. Remember we were once eager Freshmen LOL. :p

I wash every three weeks or when I run out of underwear. I brought a pair of tennis shoes, a pair of casual , a pair of sandals, a pair of boat shoes, and a pair of cleats. I had a fairly large closet for a dorm so I had a lot of shirts. I go to school in South Texas so I only had one light sweater (and no boots).

That comment is very inaccurate about the airhead thing. No, I’m really not that. I’m smart too (not to brag, just to refute what you’re saying)- I’m not some dumb airhead as you say (I took lots of AP classes in HS, good GPA & ACT, etc, piano). Obviously, you’re not a girl. I just like clothes and shoes too.

You can act like one but still be smart. But 12 pairs of shoes???

bringing 12 pairs of shoes is NOT that much!

One time when I visited, I was talking to a student and she told me she brought 30 pairs of shoes with her! It’s normal for girls- I don’t expect you to understand.

I never really paid attention to how many shoes girls actually bring.

But if you plan on doing a lot of walking or have a big campus, you may not want to ruin those coach shoes.

small campus- about 80 acres

12 pair really isn’t that many. I’m sure I have more, and I’m not even really a shoe person… On the other hand, I brought about 34 dresses with me to school, in addition to my other jeans/shirts/etc.

And back on topic, I do laundry about every other week.

Thank you, karabee…we need some other girls on this thread to point out to the boys that it’s normal to have lots of shoes. Yeah, I have WAY more than 12 pairs at home too!

Ok…boys, see I’m not the only girl here who brings a lot of something? With me, it’s my shoes and some clothes, karabee it’s dresses. I won’t bring 34 dresses…I probably own about that many, but I’ll probably only bring about 5ish.

I was a bit excessive. Since I went home about once a month, I didn’t like dragging my laundry home so I didn’t. I did two loads of laundry once a week (darks and lights). It worked fine for me since I wore a lot of the same things over and over again.

Well I guess I don’t understand females…

Yeah, duh!

Not to be mean…there’s things you could probably say that I wouldn’t understand about male stuff.

I’m a girl and have 3 pairs of shoes. Just the basics folks.
