How often do you wash your jeans?

<p>I read a topic yesterday about this girl who wanted to bring wayyyyyy too many items of clothing to college, and it got me thinking, haha.</p>

<p>How often do you wash your jeans?</p>

<p>Me: After I wear 'em 1-3 times.</p>

<p>Depends on how dirty they get but at least three times.</p>

<p>My work jeans I wash after every use since they tend to get pretty dirty when I use them. Normal jeans 2-3 times if nothing messes them up…</p>

<p>I’d like to know what people say to this. At home my parents do my laundry so it’s whatever, but in college I’ll have less space and less time so I want to know how many times I can wear my jeans without it being gross.</p>

<p>Assuming I don’t spill anything on them or get them too dirty, five days or so.</p>

<p>Once a month. It’s not like I’m wearing them on a construction site so they stay pretty clean…and jeans hide dirt anyways.</p>

<p>I hate jeans, so as soon as I’m done with classes, I change out of them. Therefore, I usually wear like 1-2 pairs a week. So… I guess 3-4 days?</p>

<p>Once a week, on Sunday, same time I wash all my close. But I’ll only wear jeans maybe twice in one week.</p>

<p>I usually wear a pair twice if they’re clean after the first time. I just wash them with everything else.</p>

<p>If they look decent, feel clean, and don’t smell bad, then I’ll wear them.</p>

<p>Sometimes that’s a few days, sometimes that’s only one day.</p>

<p>I get 2-4 wears out of them before I wash. Depends on how clean they look/feel.</p>

<p>…everytime I wear them. I just wash all of my clothes at the end of the week. I don’t wear jeans/pants over and over. I wear them once and then wash them. IMO, wearing jeans/pants repeatedly is dirty.</p>

<p>Pretty much the same as ^. I also like to wash mine since they get kind of stretched out after wearing them and washing them restores them back to their normal size.</p>

<p>ezra- Because I live in the north and it’s cold? Also, shorts look kind of odd on me (super short) since I’m 6 ft tall and it’s mostly in my legs.</p>

<p>I wear a pair of jeans probably around 10 times usually before I wash them. Maybe it would be better for me to wash after 5 or so wearings, but I am sure that wearing a pair of jeans only once before washing is just wasting energy unless you get them dirty. A lot of people (esp. Americans) have obsessive views regarding cleanliness and germs.</p>

<p>I wear them until they are visibly dirty or smell bad. I’d rather not waste my money washing my four pairs of jeans after wearing each only once.</p>

<p>Jeans are also more comfortable when theyre broken in after a couple wears.</p>
