How Rescinding Works at UCR (CNAS/BCOE)

Hm where do you check? Its been saying i’ve been accepted even before my transcript was in haha

Hi, I was admitted to CNAS for UCR for Fall of 2010.
I got rescinded because of a D in AP Stats in 2nd semester of Highschool.

My friends who got into CNAS & CHASS for Fall of 2010 also got rescinded:

One of them got a D in Precalculus in 1st semester of HS and got rescinded.
Another got a D in AP Enviromental Science (2nd sem) and got rescinded.
Another got a D in AP Calculus (2nd sem) and got rescinded.

We all e-mailed the college as soon as we got our report card,
and we all got the phone call in the first and second week of July.

They send you an email or call you, and I just checked my account today, and on the my account tab it says I got rescinded…

Best of luck to you guys like seriously.

Did you guys get a letter in your email titled “Welcome to UC Riverside! Welcome to the Highlander Family!” ?

@ hawk24: When the admissions office sent you the letter of admission it should have stated if it was a conditional admission. If it was a conditional admission you MUST satisfy the condition in order to secure your admission–usually by completing a course during the summer prior to transferring. If it was not a conditional admission then you do not have to complete the course, but I do believe you have to (if I remember correctly) contact the admissions office and inform them as to why you did not follow through with the class as indicated on your application.
