Today was the first day I encountered people I thought were actually rude on cc. Sure, we all have our own opinions, sometimes I get mad when I feel a point isn't being defended, but ideas, not people have always ticked me off. So what if I have a lot of posts? I post almost exclusively on the weekends and I'm a bit angry when people tell me to get off cc and "go study". I have a very solid gpa, a few good EC's, I've won a few awards, and I don't like people assuming I'm just complaining and not taking action. I feel really judged by a very small population. Sorry just needed to rant for a second.

Geez..what's up with all the posts? Why don't you go do something useful instead of posting stupid threads? Idiot.

Nah..jk. I wouldn't worry about what anyone has to say on CC cuz there is a 1 in a million chance they'll actually meet you and most don't know what they're talking about. ;)

I usually only post during the week, and it seems like that over the past couple of weekends that it has been hell fire on this message board. Good thing we are back to monday and all the meanies can leave. Here's to more pointless threads!!

Hey celebrian -- just ignore them. Anyone who has been around cc for a while and is familiar with your sign-on knows that you're an intelligent and well meaning poster. Personally, I enjoy reading your posts and respect them. I'm sure there are many like me, who feel the same.

ah man joev I feel like I haven't seen you here in months! nice to see a familiar face! Everyone just need to rant sometimes :p

Well now I have personal issues because I refuse to take a 3rd SAT2. hmmm...whatever :p

well if you do fine on the first two why would you? people who judge you by such things are only cheating themselves out of knowing a wonderful person. :)

I was saying on a post how I couldn't apply to a few colleges I wanted to because I'm only taking 2 sat2's, and they require 3, and how I refused to take on another one because I don't think I would do well on it. Maybe some people are smart enough to teach themselves physics in 2 months, but I'm not. :p

I once took a distance learning course at the local community college in three days. 16 week course slammed in about 30 total hours. Booyah!

that sounds.....painful.

ouch! joev you're crazy! I thought that screen name didn't work?

yikes!!!!!!!

It didn't work for a long time, but then I logged in one day with it and it let me post again.

Hey Celebrian... I know, people can be rude on here sometimes. I hate when people criticize every little thing - be it spelling, your opinion, etc. Wow, I cannot believe somebody told you to stop going on CC and go to study. People cannot study 24/7, at least most. CC can be a nice way to relax and take a break, even if we do waste time here! :)

By the way, I enjoy reading your posts. (hehe I still look for your chronicles on the math kid) Just how you wrote the beginning of this post, not pointing fingers at anyone shows how great you are. Don't let the meanies get to you. I think people can be too quick to judge things. It's problematic online because we don't have tone and so forth to always make things sound as we mean them.

Well, take care everyone. Try not to let em get ya down! I luv the nice posters!

I hate rude people. Celebrian, I concur with you.

Celebran,
You don't have to be perfect to take 3 SAT IIs. You have absolutely nothing to lose by taking a third SAT. The colleges that require only 2 SAT IIs will only look at your top 2 scores.

Some students erroneously think that colleges that ask for 3 SAT IIs want to see 3 distinctly different subjects such as a math, a science and English or history, but that's not true. Unless the college states otherwise, you can take whatever SAT IIs you wish. The exception are places like MIT and CalTech as well as college engineering programs, which may require that all SAT IIs be in math and science.

its okay i love you all.....like michael jackson loves his kids....

I don't want to take another one...so what if there's a few (actually VERY few) colleges I can't apply to? There are lots of other elite and non-elite colleges that require two or less.

celebrian, forget what other people say, I've read a lot of your posts - you totally rock

and if you don't want to take another SAT II, no one's forcing you to and if anyone says "oh my god, how can you live with only 2 SAT II's" just laugh at their patheticness.

I take out my stress on the RIAA by downloading ungodly amounts of mp3's.

oh, and I go into Yahoo business chatrooms and abuse the 419 scammers there. god that's so fun.
