<p>How safe is Rutger's and the surrounding areas?</p>
<p>If you use common sense, Rutgers is extremely safe. Obviously, you don’t want to walk around some sections of New Brunswick late at night, but if you stick with a group and hang around populated areas, the environment is completely safe. If you ever read the crime alert emails that will shortly arrive in your inbox every few weeks or so, you will notice the crimes always occur late at night/ early morning and the location is usually obscure.</p>
