<p>Yeah! I went to Equinox last year and took College Composition and Rhetoric. The experience was great, and it’s not selective at all. If your test scores don’t meet the requirements, you can submit a portfolio if you want. I loved the class, but it was a complete breeze for me (finished with an above 100%), and I didn’t really see my essays getting much better. It really depends on how you are as a student; if you’re not a procrastinator (which I am, haha), you’ll be great!</p>
<p>Agree, not particularly selective but my kids really enjoyed it for multiple summers. Well run, good teachers.</p>

It is a little bit disappointing to learn that it cannot help much. Do you think creative writting will be better? do you have lots of assignment? generally how long will it take to complete the assignment each day? my child is a commuter student, I was wondering if he should stay till evening if there will be lots of fun activities. I am sorry for so many questions, this is the first time we ever try summer program. Thank you </p>
