<p>Well, the question's in the title. I'm not sure what else to add.</p>
<p>That is not the question you want to ask. What you want to know is how good the singers are coming out of the Ohio State vocal performance program. Having heard singers from many if not most of the university/conservatory performance programs in an audition setting (summer opera program), I can assure you that the Ohio State singers rank with and/or above the singers from any other vocal performance program. Have no reservations if that is one of your options. There are very few programs recommendable as unequivocally.</p>
<p>Well, I already knew that they were a good program, I just wanted to know how hard it is to get in. I don’t want to sound like a braggard, but I am well-trained and fairly well-accomplished and my teachers like to bug me about what I want to go for college for, so I guess they must see some potential in me. I’m just a bit terrified of the audition process.</p>
<p>Will my actual voice type matter for selection for the program, aside from the quality of my audition? I imagine there would be relatively more sopranos they’d have to filter out then there would be basses (my voice type)?</p>
