<p>"Please list activities, honors, EC, etc tht u hv participated in high school" is the question I came across while filling a college application form today.
Must I answer in a short paragraph or just list out the actvities without involving whole sentences.</p>
<p>I would find a easy-to-read resume-style format that works for you. This is how I answered that question:</p>
<p>Activity Name (hours/week, weeks/year): Grades Participated; Leadership
-Short Description of Role in Activity
-Related Awards/Honors</p>
<p>Example:
School Newspaper (15 hrs/wk, 40 wks/yr): 9, 10, 11, 12; Editor-in-Chief (11,12), Lifestyles Editor (10), Reporter (9)
- As an editor, I read through all the stories in my section and created the layout for that section. As Editor-in-Chief, I read through all the stories in the paper and critiqued the layouts of other editors. Each year, we also attended the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) Spring Conference in New York City where we learned how to improve our student publication.
- Related Awards/Honors: CSPA Gold Medal (11), CSPA Silver Medal (9,10), inducted into Quill&Scroll Society (11)</p>
<p>Thanks guys. Bad1017, thanks for explaining in such a detailed manner. It is very helpful. I am gonna try and prepare my answer to the question according to your suggestions</p>
