How should I approach my SAT?

I took it for the first time in December and didn't do so great: 710 CR, 690 Math, 720 Writing (10 Essay). I'm not too worried about math because i knew i uncharacteristically messed up after i took the test and i usually get 750+ in math. I was just wondering do you guys have any advice on how to approach the SAT the next time i take it in March? I am aiming for a 2300+. Thanks!

I’m in a similar situation. I took the October SAT and now I’m retaking it in January. I would suggest searching for the essay guide “How to get a 12 in 10 days.” Also, I’m just going to focus on writing, since I think that’s the easiest section to boost your score in. I feel like one of the only ways to prepare for the critical reading is to continually do practice tests. I’m hoping that my math and writing scores will be high enough to bolster my critical reading score.
