So i'm retaking my SAT on the 5th (sunday testing) and I was wondering how I should study. Last time I got CR:640 M:750 and W:690. I really need to improve my critical reading score :/ and my writing score... actually more like my essay score.
Any tips? :)
Thanks

Critical Reading: develop a technique that allows you to finish the section quickly. What I do is give the passage a quick read through while absorbing the information, and then going through the questions. Practice makes perfect-- CR was my weakest section, and now I consider it my best (scored an 800 in November).

Math: seems like you’re good to go here, at this point it’s just about not making those dumb mistakes. Unlike most people, I never have enough time to go back through every question for mistakes, so instead I take my time on each question. I scored an 800 in November.

Writing: for the essay, simply write two full pages with a great introduction, three adequate examples, and a ‘filler’ conclusion. This method has garnered an 11 for me twice. For the actual sections, just go through grammar rules. In November, I scored a 760 with a 72 MC and an 11 essay. As you can see, the essay makes a huge difference in your score.
