We are headed to Miami this week for a walking tour and let D21 meet some professors in her intended major. What should we wear with the upper 80s weather? I am hesitant to wear khaki shorts, but expect I’ll be wishing I did. Website says comfortable shoes and dress casual, but that is very open to interpretation.
We found that kids dressed very casually when we visited campuses. My son was usually overdressed in khaki pants and a nice shirt.
We saw parents in nice shorts/shirts, casual dresses (think golf attire, resort attire) and kids in more casual shorts/dresses. You will be able to concentrate on the campus much better if you are comfortable! Enjoy your trip!
