I’m a freshman and this will be my first AP exam. I’m very willing to study, but don’t know where to start. We are organizing study groups but I feel like I can get more done on my own. What are good sources online to use? I have the Princeton Review and 5 Steps to a 5 in addition to my textbook. Are there any other review books that are more helpful? I’m aiming for at least a four on the exam, but I’d really like a five. Any advice?

Anybody? :x

Just know the big picture ideas about the history. Memorize the rubrics for the essays given on the exam (CCOT, Comparitive, and the DBQ). And study the whole Princeton review. If there are topics in the book you don’t remember than do further research on those.

Study groups might be a waste of time.

Know general trends during each time period and big ideas → i.e., the enlightenment and industrial revolution led to people thinking more about social classes, nationalism. If you have the stamina for taking notes on the entire history of the world, try organizing your notes into the 5 themes of Geography. Study groups: I can’t picture them as being too helpful, if you think you study better by yourself, then do so. :)
