After you send in the SIR and SLR what's the next thing you have to do? Is it to activate the UCI netID? But what about financial aid? How do you sign up to borrow a certain sum of loan? Is there any paper to fill out? By the way has UCI mail you any paper home lately? I haven't receive anything so I'm kind of worried.

That's the UCI FAFSA website. If you summited your FAFSA application on time, you should be able to make an account on that site to check your aids and loans. You can also accept or decline there as well.

shoot. what are my odds of still getting financial aid if i didn't submit my fafsa on time?

adingbobo... not submitting ur fasa on time is not a very good thing! Trust me, i did so too. I didn't get much at all from most of the school i applied to. Though I was able to get a decent grant from two of em. -_____- Well I know that ucsb has a form you can fill out to appeal so u can be considered on time... but that is if u have a good reason.

damn it. well does it change anything if i'm already enrolled in a school and i'm going to be a 2nd year?

I got scholarship for being a student-athlete. I sent in the paper work many weeks ago but it still does not show on the "My aid award". Should I ask them? They are slow on every thing.

ask them, it cant hurt.

i accepted my financial aid a long time ago but i got an email yesterday saying that my financial aid was available &to accept it. .....?

I got that email too so i don't understand anything.
