I’m currently a junior in high school right now, and I’m thinking about getting my whole bachelor’s degree in France (in french). I am very unfamiliar with the application process from America, and the websites of each college hasn’t been very specific about the requirements either. The only thing I know is that I would have to use CampusFrance and to take a certification test and get at least a level of B2.
My questions are:
- At what time during the year would I need to start applying?
- Would I need SAT scores, SAT subject tests, AP scores, etc? Are they necessary, or are they irrelevant? (I have already taken my SAT and two SAT subject tests).
Thanks!
The process started last week, you have till mid-March.
You typically need 4-5 AP’s and a good GPA.
My advice to you is to privilege selective programs such as IUT or Ecoles with an international track (INSA for engineering, ESSEC BBA for business…) and avoid “université” like the plague as they are very similar to Community Colleges.
The IUT selective programs are a good way to bypass the dreadful L1-L2 years in université.
